I have a Canon compact digital camera. I chose Canon partly because I
insist on having an optical viewfinder.
The problem is that my eyes do not focus closer than about 30 inches
(although I can focus up to infinity).
The Canon viewfinder focus is not adjustable, and it seems designed
for eyes which can focus much closer than my own. (This is surely
unecessary, it could easily have been made for eyes focussed on
infinity).
Consequently I see a blurred image in the viewfinder. I could use my
reading glasses, but I don't want the hassle.
I am seeking to find a miniature lens which I can tape or glue onto
the viewfinder, such as to correct the focus of my eyes. Can anyone
suggest where or how I might obtain such a lens ? (I live in the UK).
Surely I cannot be the only person with this problem !
Thanks for all replies,
George.
