I forgot to mention that several people suggested that *if* someone is
short of $$$$ then Canon XTi would be a good choice, and use the extra
money
on a GOOD LENS which will last for decade(s).
I don't own XTi model but I read it's good, cheap (BODY only is in $400's
range, and $500's with lens-kit), then use the extra money on 1-2 fast
lens.
