I wondered the same thing. All the incidents, it would seem someone would
get a good picture. But then, unless you have your camera preset, the
autofocus can roam around, and never focus on what you want. You'd just
have to keep it on manual and infinity. Trouble is, mine times out, and
if
I don't take a picture in some specified time, it shuts off automatically.
Now, you have to catch that, and reset, unless your camera like mine will
stay on continuously if it is on its AC power supply.
I thought hummingbirds were going to be easy to photograph, too. I mean,
how hard could it be? A year later, I'm improved, looking forward to the
coming season, shopping for new gear, making new feeders, adopting new
strategies, and hoping to get lucky.
I think getting a good UFO photo is easier than getting a good hummer pic.
