Generally speaking, mechanical-action cameras don't time out and require
you 
to 're-start' the camera to take a picture. You just pick up the camera,
set 
exposure, focus, shoot, and wind the film. The camera is ready to go for
the 
net picture, whether it be in ten seconds or ten weeks. I am absolutely 
certain that none of my cameras have a power-off-time-out feature, let
alone 
an LCD screen to use up the battery (which none of them require.)
