Above Photoshop is up to CS3 (v10) now, but v8 is plenty good, and it
would take years to master some of its strength.
Me? photography, photo retouching, and life etc. can be as simplest as
- Studying the object to find the good point to capture, bad point to
avoid.
You can just look at yourself in the mirror and you may be able to see
some
good and bad angle (or good bad point, or strong vs weak point)
- After years of doing the samething over and over, you may just need to
spend few seconds to study what you are going to do with the photo (I am
talking about post processing here). Or you already have couple styles to
chose, you know your limit of post processing skill etc.. so you can
pretty
much be able to smell it.
And sometime we don't really need to ask for the opinion of other, but we
just compare ours with other people's works to know we have more to learn.
Or if you think you are better than some work then look for the better one
and the better one and the better one
And my only suggestion is to get a GOOD LENSE the top_of_the_line lens to
be able to capture a better image, to enjoy the image more, to help
improving the post processing more and quicker. Or we should spend our
time
to improve our skill (too much to learn) instead of wasting our time to
pick
few good images out of bunch, then try to fix the lens problem etc..
