	It's possible that you asked the wrong question so people give you the
wrong answer.  Yes, I do realize that some Sigma lens may require to be
re-chipped to work on some model of Canon camera, but it's usually older
lens with newer body.  And if I am not mistaken, the 70/300 is pretty new
and re-chipping may not need, or it could be the contact issue?

	And Sigma 70/300 isn't a good lens, and yes it's pretty cheap or you can
be able to get it for little over $100-150 or so.  Me? I would use it, but
it's me.
