My cable and camera would have 8 years of wear on it by now if not for
using
the card reader. Of course using the reader causes wear on the CF
connector
in the camera. So maybe it's a moot point. At least I have multiple cards
and they are easily and cheaply replicable. May not even be possible to
get
a cable now.
