I've used SLRs since the '70s and digital cameras since last century.
I have a Pentax *ist and 4 Pentax lenses - fisheye, ultrawide,
'standard' and long.
All four are zoom lenses and are sharp with very little chromatic
aberration at any focal length or aperture.
