A couple of years after 9/11 here in the US, a friend and I were on a road
trip out east.  We were going to be in the vicinity of the first nuclear
powerplant to come online in this country back in the Atomic-A-Go-Go
1950s. Geeks that we are, we wanted to do a driveby because of its
tech-history content.  We stopped and took some photos (from outside the
fence).  Nothing untoward resulted, but it was only as we were leaving
that we realized that we could've stirred up some fairly unpleasant stuff
without intending to; that was kind of a shared d'oh! moment.
