I have not used the program you talk about. However, with Vista and XP the
operating system is pretty well insulated from programs.
WinXP and Vista both have a rollback feature.
Set a restore point,
Install the program.
If it causes any interference with the OS boot into safe mode and do a
rollback to a time before you installed the program.
the chances are though the in incompatible program will simply not run.
