There was something to learn here?  Prior to moving to GA from WI in 1994,
I 
placed my Social Security card in a place I knew I'd remember 'cause I
knew 
I'd need it.  I haven't seen it since.  I had to get a replacement.  The 
moral of the OP's story, if there needed to be one, was that people 
sometimes don't get around to doing the things they wanted to do, like use

up a roll of film.
