And, if you scan your negatives there is no comparison. I have some 4x5
Tri-X that prints great from scans, but 35mm color negative stock is
terrible.

I use LightZone instead of PhotoShop, but I agree. Using DxO as a front
end (4.5 on a Mac, not 5 on Windows!) to LightZone, I can get fantastic
prints with almost no time compared to what I had to spend in a darkroom.
