I have to say I have suc***bed to another canon prod the 8800f
at least I can scan slides etc but the bundled software is slow though it
does come up with the goods
the other prod with the scanner is Lasersoft software which is very fast
but seems crap at first sight on slides and negs
Anyone used the Laser software and 8800f

Then look for a Vista-compatible one that does digital ICE, unless the
slides are Kodachrome.
