I've actually been thinking about that.  I even dragged out my old Canon
A2 
the other day and tried looking through the viewfinder.  It's a bit
brighter 
than the Rebel's, but the lighting would have to be just right for me to 
make anything out.  I've even toyed with the idea of going down to our
local 
Blues club and asking if anyone would mind if I took a few pics, but I'm
not 
sure I'm ready for that yet.

I've sort of set up some arbitrary checkpoints.  I will work towards
staging 
and taking a picture which is up to my previous standards, with only
minimal 
assistance in the staging and reading camera menus / settings.  Once I can

do that again, I'll try something a bit more "challenging."

I'm hoping I'll be able to call upon a few of you guys (and gals) to tell
me 
what you really think of my work.
