I second the recommendation for ProShow Gold or ProShow Producer, I
have used both. They have nice samples on their web site. I
personally have not done anything as fancy as their samples, but fancy
enough. Latest versions allow you to export to VCD,
DVD, .wmv, .avi, .flv (Flash streaming video), .mpg, screen saver,
and .exe. Tons of slide transition effects, text motion effects,
picture motion/size/location effects, backgrounds, menus, and so much
more. They also have their own web export media and web player which
I must say seems to have better quality then the FLASH streaming
