You haven't said how your going to get the pictures from camera to the
printer. Do you need a printer that accepts memory cards. Is your camera
PictBridge compliant? Are you going to use a PC/laptop/PDA in between?

For some reason I thought of Kodak. These are PictBridge Compliant. I'll
leave it to you to see if they go together and are "portable" enough.
24volt
would mean they couldn't be powered directly from a car. If you can use it
in a car an inverter could be used. To make it truly portable, Black and
Decker and others sell battery powered inverters that would probably make
them portable. No power requirement given so can't say for sure. It also
can
be used for backup power for other devices. Portable means different
things
to different people/situations.

I got an inverter for my car a long time ago to keep from having to buy DC
adapters for devices that should have came with them instead of AC
wallwarts
anyway.
