Hi Paul, you are quite correct in suggesting there are bargains to be had,
but I just recently almost bought a second-hand D70 from a guy on ebay who
had said in his ad "this camera was to be a new hobby that never quite got
off the ground", and I thought 'great'! I then noted his name and googled
around a bit only to find masses of photos from a professional
photographer
of the same name, who just happened to shoot with a D70. I could imagine
that here was a camera which might not have too much life left in it, so I
decided not to buy on that occassion. I have however taken your advice to
heart and am looking again at ebay....'but I'd still jump at the chance of
a
brand new D70! :)
