In terms of what I've said, you'll note that you can respond - in kind, if

you feel it's worthwhile.

My point is that despite Tony B having a valid point to make about the 
inadequacy of in-store expertise; there was no reason for him to insult
the 
machine operator, offensively describing her as a 'bint' (incontrovertibly

on the basis of her gender).This is irrelevant in terms of the story and
it 
offends and demeans someone who has no chance to respond.

He then decided that since there were two other women there at the same 
time, though totally irrelevant in terms of the point he had to make, they

were fair game for an insult too (on the basis of their gender also).
