Lens hood Filter arrangements

1. you have to buy a Adapter to fit a Filter.?

2. Lens hood can't be used with a Filter..??

3. Lend Cap can't fit on the Filter. ??

4. DMW-CHFZ8 case is to small the take the adapter + Filter..

Please correct me if I am wrong as the Reviews do not mention this, they
do refer to a Adapter for
the Lens Hood but do not state if this adapter can be used with a
Filter..

A friend brought a Canon PowerShot Pro1 and that suffered the same
problem, lens hood no filter or
filter with no lens hood, but that did not worry him to much as he thinks
that lens hoods cut out
the visable light, he was using a film camera before and he showed me
stacks of photos take in OZZ
with out a Lens hood ALL suffered lens flare.
