One last thing.

Go to my blog, located at:

http://blind-apertures.blogspot.com

Note the picture of Dima and the boy. If you read the description I've
attached, it says that I set the camera and put it on the floor under the
table and it took the picture.

Really easy, right? All I did was manipulate a couple of dials /
switches,
plopped the camera on the floor by my guide, and let it do the work,
right?

Try it!

When you are blindfolded, try setting your camera. What mode is it in?
If
the mode has settings that can be manipulated, what are the settings? How

can you change them?

Now, even if you can memorize every setting of every switch and menu item,

how are you going to know what is what if the menus keep ****fting?

Assuming you can master setting your camera, and we all know we shouldn't
assume, how are you going to frame the dog? Can you even get the dog in
the
center so it will be the main subject, but how will you make sure that
there
is room for some sort of interaction in the background? How do you even
position yourself in the food court in such a way that you maximize the
possibility that there will be something in the background to add to your
image?

It's all just a matter of luck, right?

Well, keep your eyes on my blog for future shots. Skill means repetition.

And, I will not only repeat shots as good as that one, but each successive

shot will improve. I've only been using digitals for a short time and
working out my strategies for shooting with REALLY LIMITED sight. The
more
I adjust my technique, the better my shots will become, and the more I'm
going to leave you scratching your head...

A Bit Pissed Off (as you can probably tell),
Dudley
