Then you should have no problem in producing a citation that proves
your claim.

That Nikon has flown on the Shuttle is **NOT**  sufficient proof to
claim that they've passed MIL-SPEC-810 because the HP's didn't pass
the tests, yet they've also flown (precedence).

Just cough up a letter from NASA regarding their camera testing to MIL-
STD-810.  All it takes is for you to spend 10 minutes and $20 to
submit a FOIA request.  Given how much money you spend on cameras (and
time spent here running your mouth) it is so utterly trivial that you
have no excuse.


And as a reminder:

I'm not saying that Nikons aren't good or reasonably rugged - afterall
I own one myself.  Its just that these so-called "tests" are so easily
rigged that they shouldn't fool anyone.
