Yep!  And liked I said, I really loved the Mk III for its high-ISO
performance, nice bright viewfinder, and how well it interacted with
Nikkors, but the L glass was a big detractor for me.  And since the D3
came
out there is no longer any reason for me to be playing with adapters and a
Mk III.

Hey, I had a sweet collection of FD lenses as well as Nikkors back then.
Canon pissed me off when they abandoned the best lens system they ever
had.
