Sensible person, is all I can say.
Makes a lot of sense. Mine is also
a Faraday cage: the insulation matts
all have the aluminium sleeves still in and
earthed. I can't get the wireless in-house
phones to hear across floors other than the
stairwell, let alone outside!
I'm paranoid about that stuff, after a few years
in the RAAF in the weirdest goon place you
can think of. Suffice to say a "ping" was
enough to earn any of us a visit from
the safety boyzz. They don't faff around.
And with good reason, God bless them.
I've refused to let the kids use wi-fis in the
laptops: they use home-built boxes with
exactly what I know installed, all "Pro"
and legal versions.
Every week I go through the logs and
check what they loaded/installed/swapped.
Mostly kiddie stuff, but every so often I
find a real clanger: boy is growing and has
realized girls smell good. It's a normal
phase, but it pays to keep things in moderation.
He's a good kid and understands that if
he doesn't abuse it, I allow him a lose leash
anyway.
Ah well, off to bed. It's been a week
of long nights nursing lots of work projects
to completion and I need the weekend
to relax.
