I agree with you on that, and wish more folks felt the same way.
But somewhere we've parted subjects! In no way have I- at least not in
this thread- and not intentionally- questioned your visual abilities;
only your remark saying the man posting under the name of "Rita" is
usually on the mark. If you so stated earlier, I missed it, and regret
not recalling such, as to the retinitis.
It's ironic that some 30 years ago I pioneered a program at the NYC
Lighthouse to teach photography to blind and visually handicapped
persons! We used Olympusses IIRC, and while there was quite a range in
what students could discern, all were legally blind. We made
enlargements in B+W and it was a privilege being involved with the
institution.
