Except at Octoberfest ;-)
Some of my best and kindest friends are the one's I left behind when I
had to return to the USA from training in Munich. Even these many
years later, I still miss many of them. But just as I was leaving,
THE WALL separating East Germany from West Germany was coming down,
and there was social unrest about the burden on those in the west
supporting those in the eastern sector. There was trouble trying to
assimilate such a huge new population.
I don't know how things turned out. I've been away from that
beautiful country for so long now. Everywhere you looked, it was
clean, and scenic. I took a lot of photos in Germany.
