The D300 got a good new boss; he's a doctor.
But I got now regrets. I learned a lot with/from it. I guess I'm a little 
strange, but I follow no rules except my own ;-)
If the Sony would have been out together with the D300, I would have opted

for the Sony in the first place. I love the tilting Liveview; comfortable
to 
take low and high shots without braking my old back ;-)
Now I've got some money for more serious glass. I'm looking at the Tamron 
17-50 2.8, the 70-300 and the 200-500, also Tamron to start with. Possibly
a 
little later either the 10-20 Sigma or the 11-18 Tamron. I've understood
the 
Sigma is a better choice. Got any thoughts on these?

Soon as I get it, I'm going to try catch some wildlife. I recently 
discovered that close to home is a small river, Rio Sizandro, where there 
should be a lot of birds. Among them are two kinds of eagles: the Sea
Eagle 
and the Royal Eagle.
Also close is a sanctuary in Mafra where the Iberian Wolf can be found and

wild deer, boar, fox, etc.
So I'm a little impatient ;-)
