When you take a new Nikon DSLR out of the box and shoot some stuff they
all look like this until you tone it down. From what I saw in Tokyo
recently, The Japanese youth are very much into bright colours. So it
would seem are many of my clients.

Personally I've never seen colours this vivid on an overcast day. I
recall in 1999 getting a "revolutionary" Canon P&S. The first 1 Mp P&S
on the market, so I was told.

I was quite surprised to see how vivid it's photos were out of my old
Epson Stylus Pro. Plastic colours were faithfully reproduced - right
along with plastic skin tones!
