Sorry Douglas but you're wrong.  A baseball is harder and I believe it
travels faster and harder than a cricket ball or softball.  Softball
is similar to baseball but there are different rules.  Softball
pitches underhand, baseball pitches overhand.  The field is smaller in
softball than in baseball.  The balls in softball are significantly
larger than a regulation baseball. A softball measures between 11.88
and 12.13 inches in cir***ference and weighs between 6.25 and 7.00
ounces; a baseball measures between 9.00 and 9.25 inches in
cir***ference and weighs between 5.00 and 5.25 ounces.
The base paths in softball are several feet shorter than those in
baseball.
