I don't think I've ever seen baby cardinals before and it occurs to me
that they share at least a couple of traits with you ... they were
born ugly and they have hairy backs. The only difference is that they
will grow up to be beautiful.
(Since I didn't comment on the pic you may assume that it is one of
your best. Of course, that ain't saying much.)
