You can still get an APS Film Adapter for the Nikon Coolscan IV and
5000ED, which are current models.  I believe Konica-Minolta still
offers the adapters as well.

I'm using a Canon FS4000US.  I needed to replace the APS adapter a
few months ago, but everything seems OK now.
