I fell in love with the Elph Jr. when it came out.  I also have the APS
adapter
for my Minolta Dimage Scan Dual.  Unfortunately I was getting into digital
cameras at about the same time.

Digital cameras can be small and handy too.  Take the Elph digital line
for
example.  They haven't quite reached the resolution of film, but they
passed a
minimum acceptable level a couple of years ago.

I think that is the main reason APS activity has diminished.  APS is still
carried in most of the stores but not in the varieties of a couple of
years
ago.  I wonder how long it will be before APS film has gone the way of
disc
film?
