Hello Ian -
Thanks for your reply.
I found the IX on Ebay at a 'Buy It Now' price of =A330 - from a seller
in Italy!!
I have an EOS 10D but looking back over the numerous film SLRs that I
have owned the one that stands out is the IX - which I sold some time
ago. The IX is beautifully designed and the build quality is
outstanding - I also liked the APS format: I had a hankering to have
one again 'for old time's sake'and couldn't resist buying one at such a
low price.
Old Timer Cameras have user manuals =A314.95 for an original and =A39.95
for a copy: being essentially mean, even the copy price seems high in
pro****tion to the cost of the camera. There are websites where manuals
can be downloaded at a very low price but none have a manual for the
IX.I suppose I'll have to 'bite the bullet' and buy one unless I can
remember what was in the manual re the finer points of use!
Luckily, I still have the relevant ERC tucked away in my 'odds and ends
'draw.
Best wishes -
Denis
