Hi,
I am pleased to inform that there is a note in June 2007 Pop photo
magazine
(page 17) which says:
"Q Is APS film headed for extinction?
A (..) But tell your beloved Pronea there's nothing to fear. Executives at
both Fujifilm and Kodak assure us that APS film won't be going away any
time
soon."
BTW. Do you recall a Super 8 film format for silent movie cameras? I used
one back in 1980s. Do you know one can still buy a fresh film nowadays?

It is consoling.
I have no problem with buying Fujifilm Nexia 200 and 400 in my lab. A bit
fuss with obtaining Kodak film, but as far as now I have 4 Kodaks in my
fridge. So I think it is OK with films.
Finally we have internet shops like this:

But labs... They still do their job, but have no exposition's back print,
they sometimes give me back the film developed but out of the cartridge
(or
whatever is the name for the APS-type thing). Sometimes they don't do
front
print (which is not a problem really). How does it look in you country?
I still cannot achieve the quality of my 35mm SLR on the APS one. The
photos
looks a bit out of focus, grainy and too much contrast. But I like them.
I
like the H format. P is hard to get sharp one.
The other thing is how to store the H and P formats. Finally I have found
one dealer of a quite decent album, but it is 2 times more expensive than
the regular one.
