Hello Wojtek.

I didn't quite follow your post but the 50mm lens you like is a standard 
lens and not one designed specifically for APS-C?
In fact, I think that Canon do not make any lenses specifically for APS-C.

The EF-S lenses for their digital cameras will not fit the IX.

Have I missed something?
