Hello,
my technical English is quite poor, so ...
50mm is optically better contruction then zooms, kit zooms. So that is
why, 
I think, I worked.
To work, I mean to produce sharp and clean picture.
The same is in the case of 135mm or any other constant focal length (is it

in English ;-) lenses.
The better or newer zoom contructions are designed for both digital
(APS-C) 
or analog use, so they may work too.
BTW I think a kit zoom sold once with APS cameras may be more usefull then

35mm kit.
Nikon was selling it's APS camera with lens with a print on it - something

like "designed for APS".
