Yes, but that's about a $300 set of two jobs though. Do you think it's
worth that much?
Because you'd need a new 'Maxwell bright screen' installed which also
entails readjusting
the focusing mechanism (at cost), because the the new screen is thicker,
it would have to
be calibrated to "out further" from the film plane by the difference in
thickness from your
screen to the new one. It is an all inclusive job. Before I sent mine
in, I did remove the
whole finder and cleaned it all out myself, very carefully. You can do
that too. And then,
the shutter overhaul is it's own cost.
I don't want to discourage you, but there are all these considerations,
and there is about
a 12 week turn around time before you get it back!
