In The Beginning The Moderator created Usenet, and it was good.
The Moderator looked at His Creation and He saw on-topic posts, and they
were good.
The Moderator said "Usenet is good. We are bored."
So The Moderator invented Flame Wars, and they were good.
The Moderator invented Trolls, Man and Women He created them, and they
were good.
The Moderator said "We have created Usenet and Flame Wars and Trolls,
and they are good. We are still bored."
The Twin Angels Hormel and AOL appeared before The Moderator.
The Angel Hormel said to The Moderator "Let us create Spam, it will be
good."
The Angel AOL said to The Moderator "Let us create Lusers, they will be
good."
The Moderator pondered and then said "Angles, go forth and create Spam
and crete Lusers to enjoy the Spam."
And the Angels did so and it was good.
The Satan, the Opponent, the Adversary said "The Moderator has created
all that is good in Usenet. We are angry."
So The Satan, the Opponent, the Adversary created Google. And it was
bad, very very bad.
The Moderator called out to The Satan, the Opponent, the Adversary, and
said "What have you done?"
The Satan, the Opponent, the Adversary said "Oh Moderator, after every
Creation You have been bored. We have created the Million-Headed,
Million-Armed Google to Disrupt Your Usenet and thus keep You
entertained. We know that everything You have created is Good. Good is
Boring. Usenet is now a battleground in constant state of War. Google
will convince the Lusers that Usenet is now Google-Net. Google will
convince Lusers that Usenet is a Web site. And it is Bad, very very Bad."
And The Moderator looked at Google, and it was Bad.
The Moderator said "Usenet is now complete. We are happy."
