This is a used, but literally LIKE NEW, 240mm f-11 Rodenstock
APO-Graphigon lens -- as beautiful a hunk of glass as I've ever seen.
I haven't personally used this lens -- I'm selling it for a friend,
but here's what I've learned about the APO-Graphigon from a
Rodenstock lens brochure:
Another version of the Apo-Gerogon is the Apo-Graphigon, where the
angle of view has been increased to a safe 78°. Useable magnification
if from 1:3 to 1:1. Largest aperture is f/11, smallest aperture f/90,
with a working aperture f/22. It takes 82mm filters. The image
circle at infinity is 392 mm, so it should cover 8x10.
This is a symetrical lens, so the front and back elements should be
able to be used seperately. My cursory examiniation (projecting an
image on the wall), verifies this. This should be a very sharp lens
which can be used on an enlarger, or as a "taking" lens, especially
for close-ups and macro shots.
