Vintage McIntosh Magic Lantern Glass Slide Projector, c. Early 1900s

This Early 1900s Magic Lantern Glass Slide Projector by Mcintosh (Chicago,
Illinois) is in very good condition. It is fully operational. The viewer
is electric and uses a light bulb (original) and 110 volt outlet power.
It
measures 23 inches long (when bellows is fully extended) x 6 ½ inches wide
x
14 inches high. The viewer has a side door and a rear door. The side
door
has a small window and a metal label that says (McIntosh, Stereopticon
Co.,
Chicago). The housing is tin walled with a gold-leaf floral design on the
front side. The lens on the front measures 4 ½ inches in diameter x 2 ¼
inches thick. The viewer is in very good condition with no broken or
missing parts. The lens has no chips or cracks. The bellows is fully
intact with no tears and works properly. The electrical cord is original
and not cracking. It has a cloth insulating sleeve. It can be used
without
need for replacement. The tin housing has its original blued finish and
has
minor surface rust in a few spots. Overall condition is very good.
