What objects can I legally photograph and publish?

by "peter" <nospam@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > May 8, 2008 at 01:12 PM

What kind of objects can I photograph and publish (sell for profit) without

breaking intelletual property law?

Can I take a photo of iphone and sell it as a poster? I'm guessing not.
What about lessor known cellphone?

So if I want to shoot a stock photo showing someone using a cellphone,
what
cellphone can I use as prop?
What about the clothing worn by the model? Do clothings have
copyrights/tradmark?
And then there are jewelry, shoes, accessories, office furnitures...

If each object has to be researched to figure out whether it has a
copyright/trademark, then no movies or TV show can be made in reasonable
time. So it must be permissible to photograph and publish most items?
