My camera flashes then shuts right off. I dont even have one picture
I can take. I found out threw
some others that, this is normal on this camera. I bought a good set
of back up batteries, so that is the answer, always have batteries.

I have several sets of NiMH batteries as they aren't expensive. I find
that
the Duracell brand of NiMH batteries to be the best.
It's a characteristic of NiMH batteries that they are working fine one
minute and flat the next.
You camera is obviously OK.
