Printing digital pictures.

by "Michael Chare" <MunderscoreNEWS@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Apr 11, 2008 at 09:32 PM

After several years of owning digital cameras I decided to print some of my

pictures, so I took a memory card to Boots and set the machine to print
using the smallest format, 6"x4". It was not till I saw the pictures that
I
realised my mistake: The pocket camera, like many of its contermparies
takes
4:3 pictures. How silly, minimally the machine should have drawn my
attention to the fact that the pictures would be cropped.

However an advert with the pictures drew my attention to the existance of
web sites that you can upload your pictures to. ( A whole new service that
I
did not know existed, but obvious when you really think about it.)

I have found that there a number of these web sites and some offer a range

of 4:3 pictures sizes. Cany anyone recommend a particular site to use (or

avoid.)
